Why I Started Play Rain or Shine
Golf has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are on the course with my father, learning the game and the traditions that come with it. More than sixty years later — and after over fifty years of competitive play — I’m still drawn to the quiet details that make a round better.
I’ve always wanted to invent something useful for golfers. The idea for this scorecard holder came during a rainy competition when I realized there wasn’t a simple, well-designed way to keep a scorecard protected while still being easy to use. Necessity truly was the mother of invention.
Each leather holder is locally manufactured in Philadelphia and designed to be thin enough to slip comfortably into a back pocket, yet substantial enough to write on with confidence. An almost invisible rain shield protects the scorecard during wet rounds, while pencil holders on both sides make it comfortable for both right- and left-handed golfers.
Play Rain or Shine reflects how I approach the game — prepared for any conditions, built with care, and made for golfers who stay out on the course no matter the weather.
A lifetime on the course.
